Trying to understand the world of food is ever changing and very confusing. The reality is that what might be correct for one person may not be for another. Every individual’s body is unique and will thrive differently then the next. Just like we need a financial coach, a personal trainer, a spiritual coach and sometimes just a friend to talk to, it’s a an excellent idea to have a Health Coach help you personally understand your own nutrition and health needs. My Philosophy: I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life as connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole. My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to tailor make a nutrition program that incorporates eating whole real food in balance that can be maintained for a lifetime. How do I know which plan works for you? That will be determined by your health history, goals, lifestyle and health issues. Accountability, tips, recipes, meal plans, fun exercises for the body and the mind will incorporate an overall health plan, designed specifically for you. I will help you define priorities, set goals, overcome your limiting beliefs and make lasting changes. My unique areas of nutrition are supporting individuals and families going gluten free, kicking the sugar habit to the curb and supporting women in losing weight and maintaing a proper weight for her body. Together we’ll work to achieve your goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, food cravings, sleep, lowering cholesterol, improve digestion and increase energy. As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, and balance your health. After a year of chiropractic care and learning more about the benefits of natural wellness, I signed up with Beth to work on lowering my weight and cholesterol thru foods and supplementation.
