Don’t Deny Yourself Eat Healthy Fudge with Recipe!

Many of my clients come to me to find out if they have issues with certain foods.  Once they find out that they need to crowd out gluten or dairy or sugar, they may experience some withdrawal or cravings as they start to crowd these foods out of their diet.

I completely understand how this may be a difficult task, especially at first.  I found that I first had physical cravings and once they were taken care of I then learned I was having psychological cravings.  You know the ones that you crave even though you already had a satisfying meal and you’re physically not hungry but you still want to eat “x” or so you think you do.

Once I realized that the psychological craving was real and something I needed to change my attitude and mindset on, I was able to take steps toward healing that side of the cravings.  We will have to discuss this subject in greater detail another time.

One of the tactics I used was not to deny myself.  I learned that saying; “No you can’t have that”  led to being too restrictive, and defeat.  When I said, Yes you can, but had a healthy alternative to choose from, I learned that I choose better options.  The key here is to have those healthy options on hand.

One of those healthy options was my healthy homemade fudge or pudding or whatever you want to name it.  I would mix it up real good and eat it right away.  It doesn’t have to set in the freezer, but if you make a batch a head of time, its best to store in the freezer.  It will melt if not in the refrigerator or freezer.

The recipe has helped me through many moments of weakness and temptation.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
